“About 4% of people suffer from bipolar disorder. Prevalence is similar in men and women and, broadly, across different cultures and ethnic groups. Genetic factors contribute substantially to the likelihood of developing bipolar disorder, and environmental factors are also implicated. Bipolar disorder is often treated with mood stabilizing medications and psychotherapy. In serious cases, in which there is a risk of harm to oneself or others, involuntary commitment may be used. These cases generally involve severe manic episodes with dangerous behavior or depressive episodes with suicidal ideation. There are widespread problems with social stigma, stereotypes, and prejudice against individuals with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder.”

Means:
There are only 4% of us spread all over the globe.
So we feel alien because we are alien.
4% hidden in a 7 billion anonymous world.
We suffer on our inside, our minds, emotionally because the disorder is affecting the brain.
Thing is: the actual difference is actually awesome because it causes us to control a larger spectrum of mental abilities.
On the other hand: increased sensation of every kind of emotion is a curse we got to learn to live with to escape this incredible wish for release/death.

WE ARE THE WEIRDOS. WE ARE THE FUNNY PEOPLE WITH DARK MINDS. WE GATHER FRIENDS FROM ALL SIDES, BUT STILL WE ARE CONSTANTLY LONESOME.

Finding someone of your kind in between 7 billion, equals a gift from God, but at the same time is another great struggle, because suddenly you find yourself confronted to yourself. Learn what it means to love someone so much – everything you have forever been trying to figure, suddenly fell into place only because of his existence. Learn how it feels to have all the love which a human heart is capable directed towards a single human being.
